Fireball Miss stamped herself a star of the future and sealed an incredible double for her dam Femme Fireball with a dominant triumph in the June 6 Queensland Oaks (G1) at Eagle Farm Racecourse.

Sixpence had shown little in his previous grade 1 starts but things came together with new jockey Yutaka Take, and the 5-year-old captured the June 6 Yasuda Kinen (G1T) at Tokyo Racecourse.

The year may be nearly halfway over, but Golden Tempo seems a lot more than halfway to being crowned the champion 3-year-old male.
