RESULTS: Black Hills Stock Show ARHFA

For the first year on record, the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo judged team roping was sanctioned by the American Rope Horse Futurity Association (ARHFA). As team roping continues to outgrow any other Western Performance Horse event, the futurity ropings are growing in popularity. They give ropers an opportunity to season young horses before heading to rodeos or jackpots and judge horses based on the proper execution of the roping run, not just speed.

The Black Hills spectators witnessed EquiStat Elite $1 Million Rider Brad Lund in action, as well as numerous offspring from top performance horse sires. EquiStat’s 10-Year Leading Rope Horse Sire, Metallic Cat, had some extremely successful offspring there, as well as a standout performances in the heeling and the tie down from HQ Top Gun, by up & coming sire CT Show Me Your Guns.
