RESULTS: Texas Best Spring Futurity & Derby Roping
Texas Best Rope Horse Futurity held their first event of 2024 at 4M Ranch in Decatur, Texas. The event, which ran April 12-13 featured multiple levels of roping for riders looking to compete on futurity and derby horses in heading or heeling. They are hosting events in July and September as well.
The event showcased many outstanding Western Performance Horse bloodlines as well as a few paints and appaloosas. Offspring of EquiStat Elite $2 Million Sire Hickory Holly Time, Hall of Fame American Quarter Horse Frenchmans Guy, and EquiStat Elite $10 Million Sire Kit Kat Sugar all vied for $25,000 in added money over the weekend.
