Soumillon's Eight-Day Suspension Reduced to Five

Christophe Soumillon's ban for riding to benefit a stablemate is reduced to five days from eight on appeal after the disciplinary panel concluded that while his ride on Puerto Rico aided Gstaad, it was not his intention to do so.
