Stone Farm Founder, Industry Shaper Hancock Dies at 83

Arthur Hancock III, who soared to the heights of Thoroughbred racing and breeding and is enshrined in the Racing Hall of Fame as a Pillar of the Turf, died Sept. 18 at his home near Paris, Ky., according to a family member. He was 83.
